I am the editor of African history at the Scottish Centre for Global History at the University of Dundee.
The centre’s public history project gives space to graduate students for sharing global history ideas, arguments, and research. Through blog posts and podcasts, the centre’s mission is to democratise global history and give impetus to graduate students. Moreover, it emphasises the “public” aspect by making its posts accessible to the non-professional history enthusiast.
As one of the hosts of the Scottish Centre for Global History podcast, I interview fellow PhD students, Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and academics, offering them a platform to share their research and engage in discussions about their work.
